History

BARRISOL has been present in Canada for more than 15 years.

Through the quantity and diversity of realisations, the BARRISOL -Canada team succeeded to show how easy it is to s-t-r-e-t-c-h our imagination with the BARRISOL system.

In 2007, BARRISOL -France celebrated its 40th birthday with more energy that ever! The World leader in stretch ceilings is in continual innovation presenting the power of the BARRISOL system. BARRISOL customers are always charmed by the quality and originality of the product. Its new concepts offer unlimited possibilities combining design and technical success.

The first stretch ceiling fabricated by the company was in 1969, it was matt white, 4 corners and stretched on PVC profiles installed on the room perimeter. It is far away from the actual known possibilities!

In 1975, first patent registration of stretch ceiling and creation of the BARRISOL brand. Few years later, developments and innovation continue to increase. It is in 1988, that BARRISOL invented the new almost non-visible aluminium profile named BARRISOL-STAR. This lucky find marks the beginning of the unlimited BARRISOL 3D creations. In 1993, the BARRISOL-LUMIERE was born allowing many additional backlighted designs. Acoustical BARRISOL ceilings were improved with the arrival of the micro-perforated membrane.
